Blue,
This was the last shot we did
and it almost didn't happen.
We had done the big shot already:
Narcissus
and when we snapped the Octopus tests
with Suzy sitting in, mugging
and Rich making faces in the background
(this is serious stuff, you know...)
I thought it best not to push it.
We already had so much cool stuff
but everyone threw in
like they don't wanna go home yet.
Wolf set up another painted backdrop
and once again everyone got into it.
The vibe was that good.
Watching all that fuss and busy-ness,
just had to smile.
This set is everything I love about
what i do...
like sailing,
a late night jam,
extra innings and another at bat,
or when she whispers:
stay
Meanwhile,
Ben has turned up down under again
delivering some of his best work,
John is scanning his new set
and the rumor is, of stunning imagery,
we still need a great model
for Joe to shoot and
launch his BlueRoom with.
After all the years shooting
Vogue, Cosmo, Elle, etc.
he is ready to get into Blue...
Any great models want to shoot with Joe..?
Oh, this is cool:
just finished working on
one of the Octopus shots
in a super large file size
and it holds up really well.
State, or as I now call him, Duke has it now and will be
testing the possibilities
of making fine art prints
if there's a market for them,
available
soon...
